Flower was soft?
Bizarre statement.
Agree Flower was a superstar who always put his head over the ball and was not afraid to put himself in danger to win the ball.

yep. We have a few more quality A's and our middle tier is probably way ahead. Our youngsters have a few years on yours but there is plenty of potential there. Compare things to 12 months ago and you must be happier.Well, a fair part of what we saw yesterday can stem from inexperience, and the natural tendency of young players to run hot and cold at times, I guess- still no excuse, but these things invariably are a factor of course.
That's not the explanation for someone like Miller though, and his deadweight days outnumber his good ones by a huge margin. If he doesn't get replaced by Lynden Dunn next week (he kicked 8 for Casey yesterday btw), then I'll be pissed.

efa.Agree Flower was an outside receiver, who never played directly on an opponent, and led his team to a total of 3 finals matches in his 7 years of captaincy, which included the biggest finals choke ever seen.

The Demons should actually give Dunn an extended run as a key forward at AFL level.
Nah, I don't hate Melbourne. I don't hate any club actually, but some of the supporters are just such total flogs they need some trolling. If they didn't then the Bay wouldn't be here.I know you hate Melbourne but dont drag me in on it.
the same was being said about Reidwolt (nick) in his first couple of years... until he bulked up... would you say that nowWatts is still a soft hack.

Pretty handy for an under-weight KPF who has only played eight games I would think.

He played?!?
Made one error. Went for the ball too hard instead of the man and thus wasn't goal side of his opponent. Shouldn't have been caught out in defence anyway.magnificent is a bit much...
he played an inexperienced player's game today. done some very nice things and made some big errors.
he's still got a long long way to go.
