I'll keep it in mind, at the moment, the job is davey_magik's, but since he hasn't been posting that much, I'll have to see what he's up to.

I chat to him on MSN occasionally, and I think that he doesn't frequent BigFooty all that often anymore, so perhaps, he might think it's better if he sits out the season, and if he's interested in returning at some stage, I'll keep the space on the roster open for him, but we'll see what happens.

You deserved it mate, you're always posting, and always supporting the teams, even on the odd occasion you weren't picked last season, so therefore, it was an easy decision to give you a place in the leadership group. :thumbsu:
 
Pity you've already got a full squad. I wouldn't have minded playing here this coming season. Will probably have to sit this year out now, cause I doubt anyone else will want to pick up a complete newbie to the FCL, even if they do have the space on their roster. :(:p
 
Yeah, it is a pity, we'd have happily taken you on board, if anything should happen with our squad, I'll let you know.

However, if you're interested, I'm sure that teams will be willing to take you on, as long you remain active

I suggest starting a thread.

We're going through a big transition at the moment, 4 sides got cut from the competition, lots of players changing clubs and so on, so, if you start a thread letting those who need to know of your availability, someone will surely take you on.

It's currently the off-season, we've got our squad filled at 15 at the moment, the Captains, VC's & Leadership group have been named, so, we're just waiting for the official squad list thread to be up in early to mid Jan so the comp can be started in Feb sometime.

At the moment, a committee was formed, and are currently trying to sort out the new rules for 08, check the rules discussion threads for what they have come up with so far, feel free to suggest a rule change/new rule if you have an idea.

You're still the keeper on our list at the moment.
 
After talking with davey_magik, who has a few too many other things happening in 08, wont be active enough and is pulling out of the BFFCL.

This reduces our list to 14, it means I can happily announce the recruitment of GirlPower to the Inferno Devils.

GirlPower is a rookie, and is looking forward to a great first season in the BFFCL.

At this stage, GirlPower is going to take over the glovework from davey_magik, although, if Mr P@H really wants to step in behind the stumps, that position can be his, and GirlPower will slot in as a pure batsman.

Since dont bowl there walked out on us, and bomberlegend offered to leave us, which we thank him for, we've cut down to 15. Dont bowl there was going to be kept, as I was informing the two players who were unfortunately being cut due to mis-management, and new rules implemented which nobody was told about, but, I'm not complaining.

So, the squad is final above, but the player types aren't final and may change before the season starts.

One Day Captain: Pie 4 Life

Leadership Group: crowsarethebest, fantastic_crows & Tuhob

Congratulations to the guys in the leadership group, however, for the rest of the squad, if you have an idea on a pitch or team that could exploit our oppositions weakness, don't hesitate to let either myself or Pie 4 Life know, either via PM or in our squad thread, we want everyone to have a say in the club in Season 2008.

Davey_magik unfortunately has had to pull out, due to having too many other committments for 08, therefore, Mr P@H put his hand up to keep, and would like to take on the job, GirlPower will join as a pure batsman and Mr P@H will be the keeper!

Well you know what the team's capable of better than I do since I've only just got here. Was just trying to show a bit of confidence in my new team, without going too far over the top with it. :p
