Season Review
Well a disappointing season for the team has come to an end so time for a season review.
In the ODs we finished 13th with a WDL record of 8/0/18 to finish on 32 points just narrowly ahead of the Sharks on NRR.
In the Tests we 'won' the wooden spoon with 4 outright wins, 4 draws and 18 outright losses in 26 matches. In addition we got first innings points in 7 games to finish on 46 points which was well behind the team above us.
So certainly massive scope for improvement.

Bats
One of our problems was that we only really had 4 regular bats who played due to posting issues.
Tuhob
Tests: 2306 runs @ 45.2 in 51 inns with 4 100's and 17 50's. HS 150
ODs: 992 runs @ 45.1 in 26 inns with 2 100's and 6 50's. HS 132
Well I'll start with myself. I thought I had a pretty good 1st season in both tests and ODs. Was one of the leading run scorers in the team and in the competition so I'm happy with my contribution this season. Will be looking to continue and improve next season.

Tests: 1787 runs @ 47.0 in 42 inns with 3 100's and 12 50's. HS 170
ODs: 543 runs @ 24.7 in 22 inns with 5 50's. HS 77
One of the captains of the team who had a good Test season. Had a disappointing OD season though given his talent.

A batting gun. Too bad he doesn't post. Top team run scorer in both forms of the game.

Joined partway through the season but has been a great addition to the side particularly in terms of the leadership group. Solid but not spectacular season but bowling was handy and chimed in with regular wickets.

Top stuff there Tuhob
I was pleased with my season, joining halfway through to help the Devils off the bottom, which was achieved in the One Dayers not qutie in the Tests though, but we've recruited very well and we're good to go for next season.

Yep, we just have to wait and see what happens Jabso, because ideally, we still want 2 A/R's, but one of them will miss out on Test Cricket, but only play One Dayers...

If you want me to stay as a pure all-rounder I can do that or I can change as well you you want. I think I should step down as OD captain/Test vice captain though. I reckon Pie 4 Life/Djibril Cisse will do a good job next year. I'll be the team physio/psycologist next year.
Well IMO I had a solid season. It was my first "full season" joining from Victoria. I did well with the bat but I lacked pentration with the ball. Nice review Tuhob.
We'll certainly be finals contenders next year- we should aim to wint he thing with the squad we have.

Yeah it was another Poor season, and i've been a poor poster, will definately be improving that next season.
A decent season from myself, came home very strongly with the bat in the OD's which was good.

Yeah didnt quite crack the century for wickets in my first season as an a/r for the Sharks (96 I think) . Again, next season, pure bowler is spot on. Prefer pace.

Also, with the two all rounder rule being scrapped, we're probably looking at having two A/R's, one solely to play One Dayers, because I think it'll still be a good idea to have two A/R's in the One Dayers.

At about the halfway mark, it appears Tuhob has the lead, Pie 4 Life is back but if you remember, he has a form slump later in the year. Bettsie's up there as well while crowsarethebest and Beagle_Charlie are still in it.
