Think they might rest Guerra this week. He was hobbling pretty badly towards then end of the Melbourne game. Reprieve therefore for Cheney and Suckers in for Goo, and maybe Bateman for Savage.

From Patrick Keane on twitter.

"Hawthorn has placed Luke Lowden, Taylor Duryea and Mitch Hallahan on the long-term injury list, with no replacement for any at this stage."

Apparently Lowden & Duryea have been in for surgery, not sure what's happening with Hallahan.

Duryea's chances of being retained on the list?

By all accounts, he's played well in the back line at Box Hill.

Hank, your loaded emoticons aren't enough of a hint me thinks.

Hmmmmm flirting with danger here... but should we not give credit to Jack Russell, The Strength and Conditiong guys and medical team......

[runs for cover]

...........We have 8 on the injury list. Of them Litherland, Duryea, Lowden and Hallahan have been popped in early to get a early crack at 2012.......

Rough, Gilham, Stratts are well known.

Last week missing were Young, Ossie, Laddo, Schneider and Williams. Add to the list X and Morto.

Great bump Roswell albeit the fact you haven't actually provided any useful evidence in regards to what the staff has actually done besides your own generic reiterated suppositions.

I believe Morto was doing a mini preseason to prepare for his retirement game :p

(apologies to Morto who I always thought would make it because he was so athletic and in what may pan out to be his last season he has had no luck).

This is going to be interesting... :D

Ben Stratton has been taken off the LTI list and returned to the Senior List today.:thumbsu:
Breust remains on the senior list in place of Gillham.

Once again, the injury list comes good at the right time of the year. Apart from those listed as year-enders (of which only 2 or 3 would be considered for senior selection), we have practically a full list to choose from as the finals begin. Reminiscent of past premiership years.

I love the smell of September in the morning...
