Love the new Executive Order that basically classes all people in the US as female

"'Sex' shall refer to an individual’s immutable biological classification as either male or female," Trump's executive order declares. "'Female' means a person belonging, at conception, to the sex that produces the large reproductive cell. 'Male' means a person belonging, at conception, to the sex that produces the small reproductive cell."

Though Trump's goal to impose a "binary nature of sex" may seem clear, the specific wording, technicalities, and application of his executive order are far from it.

Conception is the point when sperm and egg join, otherwise known as fertilisation. Regardless of whether they have an XX, XY, or an alternate chromosome pattern, all human foetuses' sex organs are identical at conception in that they have none. Foetuses subsequently develop in the same manner as each other regardless of their chromosomes until approximately six to seven weeks after conception, at which point the Y chromosome typically expresses itself by inducing the development of testes. If a Y chromosome does not do this, the foetus will continue to develop female genitalia.

Basically, the early, default configuration of a human foetus is female. If we were to assign a sex at conception as per Trump's executive order, all of them would be female.

Can’t buy the “just an awkward guy on the spectrum he just meant my heart goes out to you” line

I mean, we’ve all worked with, or have in our friend circles or extended families any number or awkward on the spectrum types yet how often have we seen a wedding speech conclude with a heil Hitler. Or a co-worker giving condolences to someone who went to a funeral giving the old heil Hitler in the lunch room..

Just doesn’t happen.

Best take a look at those peddling that line tells you all you need to know about the credibility of that excuse in context.

Even the ADL (US Anti-Defamation League) is not saying how it reached the conclusion it wasn't a Nazi salute- it just wants it to go away.

We have seen this behaviour for years. Throwing the word nazi at problem isn't working any more.

Emotionally blackmailing the stupid isn't going to work anymore.

Labelling a person a or group of people a nazi is a serious accusation. Like Labelling someone a pedo or rapist it's shouldn't be thrown around like its a toy.

Such serious accusations deserve serious evidence.

I am willing to believe you, and change my mind that you are correct, but give me some solid evidence.

Guy whose family got rich in a fascist regime , has heavily used his global media platform to back pro-nationalist leaders twice makes the heil Hitler salute at the inauguration of the far right leader he just installed as leader of the USA…

You’re not doing much to dispel the notion that right wingers lack in grey matter.






The only thing really up for debate, is whether Elon actually believes any of this stuff or he just sees a segment of the population who are easily misled for his own personal gain. Which is really a moot point.
