Given this is meant to be an international thread, I might be useful to learn the meaning of words.
Given it appears communism or communist gets thrown around with reckless abandon without consideration to its actual meaning, I thought we could start learning what these things mean.
This is a not bad intro.
I guess a bit of spoiler, communism isn't just anyone who doesn't agree with you and communism does not equal socialism.

Well this confirms my suspicions that moderators are just using this thread as a drunk tank to cordon off the crazy from the main board. Not that I'm criticising this. I understand the need to lessen the workload for a group of volunteers. Just think it deserves to be pointed out because others had argued it was about free speech advocacy.

Not sure "drunk tank" is the right way to put it, but these threads (and The Backyard in general) are there to keep off topic posting out of Crows and AFL specific threads, but to allow that discussion to continue.
This thread in particular is time consuming to moderate and we'd prefer to keep it open at its current standard rather than shut down the thread.
They can create a conspiracy in order to make it politically motivated
Interestingly, once again, you have legal people making it clear Trump was legally allowed to lie and that's not what he was indicted for.

I have no doubt he was like a sloppy drunk on occasions and didn’t follow presidential protocol.
My question is, is he the first guy ever to be sloppy and not follow protocol?
And my second question is: Do you believe not even 1% of all of this effort going into putting him in jail is politically motivated?

It’s quite a hill to die on — that you can’t just admit that you’re happy for the guy to go down, whether it’s politically motivated or not. Why not just admit that?
It’s the same way they can’t admit the heart-attack jabs should never have been mandated on anyone. It’s such an obvious truth, yet they just can’t bring themselves to say it.
Do they really wonder why we call them commies? Their devotion to the narrative is religious and absolute.

I don't want to make it partisan, so I've got thus one, it's really difficult to find videos on this topic as nearly all of them talk about MAGA, Trump or Orban as the most obvious and current form of Authoritarianism. Turkey and China being another.

I have to wonder why you use that term As Cap said you are extremely uneducated about what Communism is and just follow your rw buddies in using the term on those who don’t agree with you.
