The one thing that always seems to occur is the average voter has a disconnect with what has to be done. They want more services provided but unable to understand how they get paid.

Trump wants to lower tax for business but reducing taxes has not helped wth the distribution of wealth since Reagan days - the old trickle down effect has proven to be utter failure.

So he has started, and what is the biggest import from Canada into USA - oil!

So wait until the bleating starts when gas (oil) prices at the pump go up. They were warned but not only that the price of gas will flow thru to everything in the economy (which is one of the reasons inflation roared the last few years after Covid-19 - besides supply chain issues).

It isn’t hard to work out if gas prices go up, inflation increases. It ain’t rocket science.

its always the way. the uneducated focus on a single issue but do no research on it and just want to vote on protest or allegiance.
As long as people go on thinking this the Republicans will always be a chance, it's got nought to do with the "uneducated" it's almost always down to the person's personal feeling on what will give them the best results for their individual circumstances. The Democrats failed to meet their expectations of the greater majority it's really that simple.

Resounding?

How embarrassing.
A resounding victory , cataclysmic, drubbing, , call it what you want it certainly wasn't even close.

Yep embarassing for you...most certainly.

It was the smallest winning margin by popular vote since 2000 (lets not include he never won the popular vote in 2016) and they have probably a margin in the House of 3-4 seats which means you wouldn’t want any defections of non-MAGA MPs.

Hardly a drubbing but then again your knowledge of the USA would fit on a postcard. But by all means keep trying.

And final point, for someone who thought both candidates were crap, you sure seem to delight in Trump winning. Once a Trumper, always a Trumper. Either that or you are a troll.

Think most accept the result and have the right to call out the hypocrisy of some.

Yeh, shit happens but it wasn’t resounding as you have stated.

We move on and have the popcorn ready for the shit show that will more than likely unfold.

The unfortunate thing is they have voluntary voting unlike us.
