I dont think thats what he is saying. He isnt being pro russian. Well thats not the take I had from his comment. I think he was merely stating that shutting an election down to prevent a candidate from being voted in isnt really a democratic solution.

The unfortunate fact is Russia still holds a lot of power in the old soviet block and they regularly implant sympathizers into office political posts. Im not sure what the answers are though.

They aren't shutting it down.

They are re-doing it due to irregularities, its gone through their own Govt institutions to confirm the abnormalities.

Russia do have a lot of influence in Eastern Europe, rightly or wrongly.

What sort of leader promises lower grocery prices and promises that his 10-20% (or more) tariff won’t increase prices BEFORE the election only to walk these back a few weeks later. Isn’t that weak? Deceitful? And stopping the Ukraine war “day one I become President-elect” - why hasn’t this happened? Was Trump lying?
