Most Democrats are of the same opinion now it seems it's just taken them a very loooong time to see what most intelligent people could see for years..
So which policies of Biden have been failures to date?

Personally, I've had a gut full of the US's handling (fear of escalation) in regard to weapon supply and usage restrictions placed on Ukraine

The alternative though is trump, cutting weapon supply completely and in caving in to putin's demands

Nobody's perfect hey...

I see Orban is planning to visit MAL next week, likely with some orders from Putin, while the opposition leader of Hungary is visiting the bombed children’s hospital in Kyiv.

A decent kick in the guts for our resident Biden fanboi duo OGC and PS hey..

Now even Biden fanbois from the gltterati are jumping sheep, none less than celebrity actor and rabid Democratic Party supporter George Clooney.

George Clooney has delivered a scathing message to Joe Biden. Where does it leave his election bid?

Welcome back to your weekly update on US politics, where North America bureau chief Jade Macmillan catches you up on the biggest developments in America as we hurtle towards election day in November.

Talk about a star-studded affair.

At a theatre in Los Angeles last month, Hollywood A-listers George Clooney, Julia Roberts and Barbara Streisand took the stage in a public show of support for Joe Biden.

Talk show host Jimmy Kimmel interviewed the president and his former boss, Barack Obama, as a crowd of supporters watched on.

It was a fundraising success, reportedly bringing in a record $US30 million ($44 million) for the Biden campaign.

But just a few weeks after the event took place, Clooney has called on the president to withdraw from November's election.

"It's devastating to say it, but the Joe Biden I was with three weeks ago at the fundraiser was not the Joe "big F-ing deal" Biden of 2010," the actor wrote in the New York Times.

"He wasn't even the Joe Biden of 2020. He was the same man we all witnessed at the debate."

Biden has remained defiant in the wake of his disastrous debate performance against Donald Trump, insisting it was a "bad night" but that he's still the best person for the job.

And he may well dismiss Clooney as one of the "elites" that he's accused of trying to push him out of the race.

(Asked for comment on the Clooney piece, the White House referred reporters to the letter the president sent congressional Democrats earlier this week, urging them to unite behind him.)

But the actor's high-profile intervention is deeply damaging on several fronts.

Clooney is one of the relatively small group of people who can speak first-hand about a recent personal interaction with Biden.

And as a lifelong Democrat who "loves" Biden, he argues the party is "so terrified by the prospect of a second Trump term that we've opted to ignore every warning sign".
Not a fanboi but I want the Dems to win and changing tack so late is fraught with danger and of course the media frenzy would continue against any replacement.

Also look into Clooney trying to bribe Biden. Could have his nose out of joint, who knows?

You need to be kind to facebook boomers, the epstein stuff stopped being shared once it was discovered just how much Trump had to do with him.

But to be fair, being a sex offender isn't a big deal to Trump fans so it probably makes little difference.

Clooney trying to bribe hBiden? Are you fooking serious?

He's just stating what almost all half intelligent Dem supporters would be thinking.

Trump appeals to the worst of human nature. People are aligning with Trump because they think he will gift them cushy roles, high paying prestigious jobs, reduce tax for the super rich etc. No one cares that he is a criminal. If they did he wouldnt have made it to his first term of office. The dudes been a career white collar criminal his entire life, and his certainly been a sex criminal but has paid a lot of women off to stay silent.

But the truth is no one in his legion of fans care, they just make excuses because of their deplorable human nature. Someone with good moral standing would still argue Biden is the better choice or state that they are both bad.

Ok I disagree. I think Biden should step down. If he does it now, he will be respected for his decision. Imagine the backlash against the democrats if he contests the election and wins, but he cognitively declines quickly, or has any other of a number of ailments the elderly get that render them unable to function without assistance and he spends most of his time in and out of hospital, or worse. The democrats then have the gall to parade a VP out as president like the events with Biden were unforeseen.

The USA is already a divided country. The Democrats will be seen for being greedy and win at all costs, not to mention any semblance of Biden being respected will be tarnished has he will probably go down as the worst president in history especially for the second term and it will tarnish his first term. How angry and divided do we think the USA will become after this?

The smart thing would be to get Biden to step down from the race now, hold a rapid fire democratic primary to find a new leader and parade a stable Candidate and VP team leading into the November election. People are angry that the democrats think voters are fools. If there was a street poll in any street in the USA that asked the question, will Biden have his health in tact by the end of his next presidency? what do you think the answer is.

There will be no winners in the next US election if the same 2 candidates remain.

It's embarrassing they are supposedly the best options for the so called best country in the world lol.

They might not be winners but one thing is for sure, there will be massive losers if Trump is successful.
