Or do what they usually do and blame white males, despite the white male vote being DOWN from the last election.

As you say the Hispanic and black vote was up this time, that still hasn't stopped the usual suspects on here rolling out the racist and sexist insults.

It is almost like a group of minority folk of colour are tired of white liberals talking for them.

lol .. yet voter turn out for whites in the chart is listed as 67 and 71% of the totals respectively

I'd love for you to point out where I actually blamed anyone. It's legit information provided from exit polls. It's not some random opinion

The interesting part was 18% swing from Biden in 2020 to trump in 2024 from latino men who made up 5% of total voters in 2020 and 6% in 2024

On the other hand .. lovely to see another pop-up sprinkler dancing in here post election result :thumbsu:

My actual post election reflection based on the exit polls actually points to a protest vote more than Trump winning on his own merits. The economy I think is what destroyed Harris, with racism and misogyny playing very little part. The fact Harris had a nationwide swing against her from democrat voters pretty much tells you they swung to Trump and the economy was an issue pinpointed in the exit polls with 37% using it to justify their vote.

Harris never preached to her base, she never explained how inflation works and she never outlined the fact inflation is at 3 year lows right now. Relying on abortion and Trump destroying the constitution as your attack ads in an era of streaming services in hindsight was a massive blunder. People just want to pay their bills and have money left over.

So they voted for the bloke who is going lower tax for the top 5%

And increase taxes on the lowest income workers. Gut social security and medicare. Probably give carte blanche back to pharma to charge whatever they want

Introduce tariffs that will potentially lead to trade wars, and at a minimum increase pricing for imported goods

Hard to see how life will be more economical stable for a large % of the population

Dems messaging never reached the audience in a manner needed too

While clearly I'm disappointed in the result I'm refusing to let it get me down. The simple reason is he hasn't done anything yet. No point getting worked up over what might be.

So for now, let's just take a deep breath and chill. Life's too short.

Isn't this what jenny and the clappers tell us about the crows when there's a rumour or news article about something negative about the club?

Interested to see whether this is applied to the election of checks notes a country we don't even live in.

How women can vote for a POS like that baffles me. But worse, that they are voting against their own rights. Mind boggling.
I suspect you are a more radical woman than OGC. Abortion was not on the Presidential ballot. Trump never wanted it. He clearly said that over and over. State issue as per SCOTUS who also didn't want to deal with it. There were various state abortion bills voted on. Some got threw, some failed.
What was on the Presidential agenda was men in women's sport. Are you happy with that?

Probably in the real World where cost of living is important to them and not personalities.

He’ll be gone long before then. Good old JD will be ensconced after DJ gets shuffled off to the dementia ward.
You really are taking it bad considering you don't live in America.

I think a few folk have posted links in which trump has stated he isn't going to change health care for woman

They seem to forget he has a tendency to lie and say whatever he thinks is right at any particular point in time

Changing access to birth control, for example, is well and truly a part of the Project 2025 manifesto

And a few folk have now come out and claimed that Project 2025 is on the table and is the blueprint for governance going forward

And also on abortion:

"Project 2025 threatens to extend them through federal policies that would likely intensify the pressure on abortion providers nationwide."
