Agreed. I have been a swing voter at times over the last couple of decades after mainly voting Howard during his era. Had hopes for Turnbull but he really disappointed and also felt last election with Albo vs ScoMo as possibly the worst candidates we had seen. In the 80’s / 90’s we actually had some real quality - Hawke, Keating, Howard, Dr Hewsons Fightback. It’s all gone to shit now though. It really shouldn’t be hard for other posters to work out.

you make an interesting point, in Australia we didn't vote in Labor policies about housing a couple of elections ago, that people are now punishing Labor for not implementing.

Perhaps Bill Shorten was right, but he just wasn't good leadership material.

A higher proportion of the higher educated voted for Harris & higher proportion of lower educated voted for Trump.

This election just confirmed the USA have too many dumbarses who actually think Trump will be competent 2nd time around.

Equally, not great for Harris that she couldn't articulate it. Should have stuck to simpleton slogans like MAGA.

At the end of the day Trump clearly won & most Americans got who they voted for.

Being educated doesn't necessarily translate to intelligence, but it's an indicator. I know plenty of smart people without degrees & plenty ot stupid so called educated people too.

However, I cannot respect putting a known criminal in a leadership role.
