I'd like to know of examples of children that have been forced to change their gender. Because I have friends whose children have come to them and said they feel they are in the wrong body, and their parents have supported them the best they can, gotten them the professional support they needed and helped them transition if that's what they wanted. But not one of them forced their kids into it.

I didn't say "forced" as in against their will. I'm talking about when parents allow - encourage, even - their child to go down the path of drugs, hormones and even surgery, because "that's what they wanted". They are children.

So, the only reason you want them is they work for poverty wages. American don't know how to harvest food and serve food.

How many Afghanistanis & Iraqis are living in Australia now?

If a country is involved in conflict in another country, do they have a responsibility for innocent people who have been displaced?

What is shocking is the footage of Israeli soccer fans being attacked was actually footage of Israeli Maccabi football club fans attacking people, and causing mayhem. In the footage that did the rounds on major news networks around the world it is clear as day that the people doing the attacking are wearing Maccabi colours. The person that filmed the footage actually came out and clarified that the footage was of Israeli Maccabi fans running riot.

The idea that there was poor innocent Israeli soccer fans attacked unprovoked in Amsterdam is a complete and utter fiction.

This is a classic case of most major media outlets grossly misrepresenting the truth & why need to critically analyse major news stories.

Once the truth has come out that the reverse was true, most media have done their best to now cover it up or go quiet. Clearly don't want to tell the story if the shoe is on the other foot... when should be reporting the truth regardless who was at fault.

Republicans with more intelligence shake their heads at trump and his antics, but they have to tread carefully because the whims of Trump could see them suffer in some way.

As for the 'woke' ideals ...gender transition medication and surgeries for confused kids? Boys identifying as girls allowed to use female toilets, and compete in female sport, and use female change rooms? Teachers not allowed to address boys and girls as 'boys' and 'girls'?... yes those kind of ideals. If you can't see that rational thinking people are opposed to that then I don't know what to tell you.

Can only become president if you are rich.

However, the Democrats spent far more than the Republicans on their respective campaigns..

When he was elected the first time, Trump had the good sense to fill his cabinet with competent adults, who were properly qualified for the positions they were filling.

In his second administration, he's filling it with crazies, most of whom are completely unqualified. Indeed, the only qualifications they appear to require are a history involving sexual assaults (either committing themselves, or covering up the actions of others) and blind loyalty to Trump. Competence and experience related to their appointments appear to be completely irrelevant.

With a serious number of crazies & incompetents likely to be approved by a Republican Senate (even if Gaetz doesn't get through), it's going to be a wild ride starting in January.

Trump filled his first cabinet based on the mantra of having the best and most qualified people and he did. But he quickly realised it didnt gel with his do anything he wants style and he fired them all pretty quickly and well the back half of his administration became a joke and it was a massive contributor to the poor economy results around covid.

So yeah he has filled it with loyalts who will do his bidding this time. Jury is out as to how bad it will be, it maybe nothing to see and a smooth and unremarkable presidency but you dont do what Trump is doing without wanting to really make an impact. What is that going to look like, well we are getting an idea.

Are you for real?
I would say that no parent would want their child to be in that situation. All parents want their child to ahve a sense of belonging in society and seeing how such people are ridiculed and ostracised I would say parents would think long and very hard rather than ‘encouraging’ their child to go on a path of surgery and drugs. It would be a last resort.
So much focus on this by conservatives while Trump’s administration is a cesspool,of rapists and child molesters. This can ruin a child’s life yet MAGA seem utterly unconcerned and unfocused on that.

In fact they voted in a rapist for President.

One has to wonder why.

Is the plan here to form a Cabinet of the most qualified candidates capable of leading the most powerful country on Earth or to start a new reality TV show?

Where is this evidence? No parent would want this path for their child (given the hideous treatment of lgbtqi folk have to face) unless it is absolutely clear that this path is the one the child wants. I agree there should be strict guidelines but like I said no parent would want to wish this path on their child.

The Democrats didn't lose the election because they had less money to spend, but how they used the more money they had available to get their message across.
