Asma al-Assad has filed for divorce, expressing disatisfacfion with her new life in Moscow.
She may need to think her moves through a bit better.

the council they had with the various sects was interesting, seemed to be looking to involve everyone.
You would think Iran will keep trying to destabilise and Turkiye will try to influence, at the end of the day, that is better than Russia and Iran.

Yes, sanctions should be removed given they were against the old regime.
Israel need to butt out... as they have been bombing as well now trying to take over Syrian land to increase their own.
The new Syrian leadership need to be supported if they are looking to do the right thing by their people.
Fair enough, i had thought HTS had also been sanctioned due to their past affiliations.
i know know they've called for elections in 18 months? Its also reported that they are trying to keep existing Govt institutions running to keep the country running until then so again, good signs.
I saw Israel invaded some of the buffer zones , you would hope they smarten up and realise having Syria as at least a neutral state is the way to go.
