Supercoach Round 3 SC Talk - Round 3 Trades ,//, AFL Fantasy Round 2 AF Talk - Round 3 AF Trades
Our country would unravel in a hundred different ways without it.
A really good news story and a great achievement.
And even as I type this I know OGC and Kirky will find a way to criticize it.
LOL
yeah you Laborites love them handouts, why should taxpayers that get nought from the Government pay your HECS debt that you acrued for your personal benefit. Pay your way like the rest of us have to. It's not the Government Labor, Liberal or any other Political Party that's paying for it it's us mug taxpayers that worked for everything we've got with no handouts.
Why don't you post on the Australian politics thread. From what you are saying I presume you are not in the top tax brackets which would mean you would also benefit from the tax breaks they provided. All the while they have simultaneously managed to reduce the deficit.
So when you say “the taxpayer pays for it” I’m not sure who exactly you’re referring to.
It’s almost like Labor tends to have a holistic approach to policy where the priority is helping working and middle class people. Also, the recipients of HECS support are very often people like teachers, nurses, vets etc. professions that greatly benefit the community but, while are well paid, don’t have ridiculous high earning potential. The government should absolutely be incentivising people to go in to those industries for the benefit of the overall community.
Maga seem to want it both ways, no immigrants doing these jobs but also not supporting Aussies to train for these jobs. It’s almost as if they don’t have a working brain. From what you are saying I presume you are not in the top tax brackets which would mean you would also benefit from the tax breaks they provided. All the while they have simultaneously managed to reduce the deficit.

The below response to this post is obviously true
Medias touch get over 10 m hits per week. Where are they showing as they out rate Fox and RoganPeople love a conspiracy theory to explain why their lives are shit, hence RW media being funded by the rich to keep people’s minds off why their lives really are shit.
News Corp Australia further moving against Trump with headline now calling his excuse “absurd”.
Like seriously what sort of ****** up person jokes around or makes up shit with this. He is total scum. Both major promises - getting inflation down (now proven to be a lie as was just an “politically expedient” statement as per Pete for the masses of stupid people) AND stopping the war on day one. What’s actually true?
Not sure if any MAGA fans had any thoughts on this clear change? And this is before Rupert drops off
US politics live: Donald Trump offers absurd excuse for failure to deliver on Ukraine war promise
Donald Trump has offered a dubious excuse for his failure to deliver on an explicit promise, made repeatedly before last year’s election.
'I was being sarcastic': Trump's laughable excuse
Donald Trump has insisted he was being “sarcastic” when he repeatedly promised American voters, during last year’s election campaign, that he would end the war between Ukraine and Russia within 24 hours of taking office, if not before then.
“I’m not understating the complexity of all this, but as a candidate, you said you would have this war settled in 24 hours,” journalist Sharyl Attkisson, hardly an unfriendly voice, put to Mr Trump during an interview with him on her platform Full Measure.
“Well, I was being a little bit sarcastic when I said that. What I really mean is I’d like to get it settled, and I think I’ll be successful,” Mr Trump responded.
Hmm. Yes. Well. The thing is, the President’s remarks are on tape. We can watch them back. And don’t you know, there’s nary a hint of sarcasm in them.
Why would Trump kill the anti money laundering law?
