In a way I agree, they are illegal, the tax payer shouldnt have to foot the bill for a court date. However, if they have a genuine claim for asylum thats deserving of due process.
What no illegal immigrant deserves is to have a fabricated link made to a gang so you can be treated like the scum of the earth, frog marched like you are the most dangerous person on the planet and sent to a 3rd world foreign jail. Its completely indefensible.
Im not calling the guards and MAGA that. Not sure if im reading your reply right. But thats how i am saying the illegals being deported to one of the most dangerous prisons on the planet are being treated.

For any other government, accidentally adding a journalist to a chat about military airstrikes would be a crisis. For Trump’s, it’s barely a blip on the radar.

The first issue with this week’s Signal story, and perhaps most egregious, is that these officials were risking the lives of American military and intelligence members by sharing information outside secure channels. Normally for a military strike like this, classified information is discussed in secure facilities where mobile phones aren’t allowed. That’s because it’s nearly impossible to fully secure any mobile. The second is constitutional – and nothing new.
The third issue is more dire. It appears that government officials were either using an encrypted app designed to protect the free speech of average citizens to hide their decisions from the public, or because they have little to no respect for the public’s right to know what leaders are doing in their nation’s name. There is, of course, always a tension between security and liberty, but it seems these officials chose neither. They did not protect vital national security information, and they were attempting to avoid public scrutiny by acting outside the legal requirement to these decisions.

Without due process, how do you as a legal immigrant or a citizen or Joe on holiday with the wrong skin colour differentiate yourself from the illegal immigrants before you’re dobbed in to ICE, handcuffed, blindfolded and sent to an El Salvadoran prison?
The US constitution guarantees due process and innocent until proven guilty for ALL persons, it doesn’t differentiate by visa class or ethnicity. For good reason.
Well thats where it comes in to the fact that better processing standards could straight deport back to the country of origin. But the innocent person who is the face of whats wrong with the current attitude self reported, did everything right and submitted all the forms and had lawyers ready to pursue asylum and Trump still deported him based on the fabricated link of tattoos. Its incredibly pathetic.
So you are celebrating sending innocent people to El Salvador and security leaks that placed US Military in Danger. Wow, what kind of person are you

Honestly it wont surprise me if Trump is going to try and prosecute the journalist for releasing top secret information.
Its only free speech when it fits their narrative. Everything else should be banned. Basically.

Why are the security people handling these people masked? Why are they treating these people - who have not been charged with anything nor had any due process, as criminals? What’s with the chains and head shaving? Why aren’t there more ****ing protests over this demeaning handling of fellow humans?
college campuses have been outright threatened with defunding and people with legal immigration status are fearful of being targeted because they chose to protest. People are scared. Plus the USA has a very high % of people who are outright detached from media coverage and therefor live in the blissful world of ignorance binge watching netflix.

Trump doing a sales pitch of dumbing down the weapons they sell to international partners is going to ruin weapon manufacturing in the usa, a $317B industry. Add onto the terrible anti USA sentiment ruining international travel to the states, especially as foreigners will fear being deported for no reason. What impact will that have on a yearly $2.4 Trillion industry.
People laugh and say he is doing a great job but his idiocy isnt going to pay the bills. It looks likely all he will do is sky rocket inflation, the national debt and leave the USA in a gigantic financial hole. At least he is consistent, thats how many of his businesses were left.

The world is disgusted and I just dont think a majority of americans know. The mainstream media are having a hard time reporting on it because of the secrecy and how fast it occured, so im not sure that is helping
