Is this team possible?

I'm guessing this team was made around Rd 7. Probably loaded up with heaps of fallen premiums and a few really good cash cows. Not that unrealistic to end up with a team like that if the right trades are made.

Cherish team was made at the beginning of the last round and it has dropped $1mill to $10.48 mill..
Isn't the salary cap $10 mill?

There was a thread on a similar topic last year. RUTSA must have made use of a quirk in the game - whereby you can select 29 rookies and enter your team in round one. Then you can still make unlimited trades and gain money from the rookies at the same time, allowing you to rack up enough dollars to make an awesome team after about 10 rounds. It just means that your overall ranking suffers accordingly because - since your team isn't entered properly - you do not score points for each round. The aim is simply to win the weekly prize.

Makes sense..

Take a look at Cherish a little further down, something really fishy going on.
I did the maths with last weeks prices and she spent $9,650,200 to make that team..
Just dont understand the -$1,015,600 in the change in team value section..
Each to their own I suppose..

I'm fairly sure team value goes on players original prices at the start of the year, not team salery cap.
If a team dropped $1mil then it would probably be due to the overall price drop of the combined players from their orignal costs.

Atleast that's how I see it as over the years I have noticed at the end of a season my team falls in value as cheap premiums a brought in to replace rookies.

Cherish is me.

I have done supercoach for a long time (and usually do pretty well) but didnt enter this year. Just for the fun of it tried to enter a team last week, but it would not accept my email address so I did it under the wifes email.

The team was under the 10 Mil salary cap (how could it not be) and I had 7k left over.

Found it interesting to do a team this late in the year as you don't have the chance to make the most of the rookies and players returning from injury from last year. However you do get the likes of Brown, Bartel at a cheaper price.

Waite and Wellingham were my worst scoring players and ROK pulling out didn't help.

Did not think I would get any score like I did for the week as I only did it for a bit of fun last week.

Anyway supercoach fix over for the year :D

The team average per round is below 1,500 pts. That average is calculated form round 1, regardless of which round the team actually entered the competition. The lower the average, the later the team was entered. For example, if you entered the comp in round 20 and scored 2,000 pts, you would have an average of 100 pts per round.

I'd say this team entered sometime after round 7 at least. He has only accumulated 30,000 pts overall whereas most of the top teams have 45,000+ pts at the same stage. That would suggest he has missed about 33% of the season.
