Happy to call it greatest kick with around 5:35 to go in the 2nd quarter on a Thursday night in June in a game between Westcoast and Geelong. When he does it and the Eagles are 3 points down with 2 minutes to go in a final or game of such importance we'll talk about greatest kick. All that said, it certainly was a great execution of the skill.

I can remember a kick from maybe 20 years ago. Andrew Jarman gathered the ball in the centre, ran towards the left half-forward flank and speared a pass on his (non-preferred) left foot to a leading Modra. The kick must have travelled 50m and it went no more than around 4m above the ground. It was an absolute bullet.

Yep, never get tired of that one. I was 8 when he kicked it, have seen it 100s of times since.

From the sublime to the ridiculous. It probably wasn't all that long after his bomb that he missed from about 1m out. From memory he either mistook the gap between the goal and behind post as being the goals, or he actually kicked the post.
