Thats great. i didn't say the majority of the worlds people knew the USA had them before they used them.

I said alot of people. alot of people knew America had them, including Japan who were warned prior. Japan thought they were bluffing too.

So the "they are only a deterrent" line is complete BS.

They have been dropped before, and if another world war breaks out, they will be likely dropped again.

So the Israeli "evidence" to hide their guilt in bombing a hospital is turning out to be false. Even American media is pointing to that. All circumstantial evidence is pointing to Israel as well.

As tragic as the outcomes of this medieval siege is, I really hope that this is the beginning of the end of the ethno state formed with terrorism by settler colonials.

The behaviour of Jewish settlers with the backing of the IDF in the West Bank rendered the two state solution dead over a decade ago.

Hamas are a terrorist organisation and Fatah are complicit with the Israeli occupation. The 3rd intifada will be against current Palestinian leadership as the younger Palestinians are calling foe a one state solution.

With every Palestinians granted the right of return, all property stolen in the Nakba returned to rightful owners and a truth commission like what was held in South Africa we could see the formation of a secular multi-ethnic state that is free from apartheid.

I believe it is inevitable, just like all settler colonial attempts by Europeans in Africa ended due to the remaining population of the indigenous, European Jews will also fail in the long run here.

The US supported South Africa, but then stopped. The US will eventually stop supporting Israel as a Jewish supremist ethno state eventually as well.

Being a presence in the area to discourage other countries getting involved is very different to actually sending troops in though. I doubt the US has much appetite to send troops anywhere right now.

I get it may not be directly, but I see it more as a gradual thing. If Lebanon gets involved, it will lead to a direct war between Iran and Israeli. That may be the one that starts it IMO.

That’s the worry for family there. If Hezbollah get more proactive, it’ll get ugly for innocent people in Lebanon.

As someone who has family there, and as selfish as it may sound, but if they start on Lebanon, I do hope Iran steps in and it escalates further. They’ve done their fair share of damage in Lebanon in the past.
