and how would you know this prr?? I have worked at an afl football club before and I can tell you that I, along with other staff, was made aware of things (such as this) in some instances days before the information was released to the public.

the guy apparently works for RFC, comes on here registers today just to tell us people on Bigfooty what the go is.

One would think this type of news would also now be posted on the Richmond forum or even heaven forbid the numerous Richmond Fan Forums on the internet.

I'm more inclined to think its another Big Footy user who has registered a second, third or even fourth account to post more garbage.

If they guy really does work for Richmond I wonder if its the same person who leaked that memo about Frawley a few years back?

man dont you get it? you get a player as well and you have to pay that player as well. If you dont draft a kid with #8 and you ontrade it for another player thats 2 players that kind of put you right back in the position you are in right now.

If that deal went through it would free up a fair bit of TPP for Carlton, and they would have picks 1,4 8 and 20 -- which might get you a pick of one of the big youngsters from East Freo. Hard to believe it wouldn't be Pick 8 and a player though. I could see it being Pick 8 and Simmonds. Gives Carlton a top bloke and a handy ruckman.

There's no doubt Fevola is a superstar when he's on. But the couple of times I've seen him play at Subi when he goes off he just drags the whole side down with him. Take out Fevola, Lappin, Campo and and bring in 3 fresh talented kids and you start to get a culture change. Maybe that's what Carlton are after?

Ok, now that the deal's done and will be made public very soon, I'm happy to post.

Fevola to Richmond for pick 8 and % of salary paid. I'm not going to post the amount of salary, but it is significant. Just like GM said, the deal was a simple one - it was always about Carlton fitting into the TPP.

My source is me, I work at RFC. Confirmation will be in the media this afternoon, but you heard it here first.
