This is such a misleading way to frame the trade. They're trading a second rounder and 800k in salary space which may be able to secure Rowell ect. People keep pointing to this like it has any relation to our trade.

we might need to because that's what GC will accept apparently. its not a garbage take from that perspective
it should not be our starting position, we should be trying to split 5 and give GC a pick in the 12ish range. it's garbage that we aren't trying that. we needed to take control of the narrative and say 5 is off the table, because frankly, it's overs.
