thats because he was already out the door to brisbane and they told him to take it easy so we would trade him and they could get away with minimum chips

There is no guarantee though. Essendon have a pick before us and could quite easily pick him up.

It's also not a great look to any other player that we are going to target in the next few years. It's hard enough to convince them to come play for us as it is, let alone if we show that we are happy to let them go to the PSD or ND and then risk them ending up anywhere. If they nominate us, they want to know that we are going to do everything we can to get the deal done.

I think people significantly overrate the value that players place upon clubs being losers.

They want to have success in their careers. No one is hoping that the club that they're going to overpays to be nice.

I so wanted E Hollands in his draft year, but he was never going to be there at 11. I have no problem taking TT at 2 he will be a gun. But I would have seriously thought about taking him at 2 my reason being (many may say that is 2 high) but what is our Most pressing need.

Someone should really call him out. How is the pressure and what he has been advised any different to, for example, taranto, JHF, bowes, jackson.

IMO perspectives change once Cameron left the Crows .....make no mistake, he's also had quiet games at BRIS ....in fact there was a period whereby his body language was under the spotlight

However, as you'd expect, Cameron got better & more consistent with maturity .....same would have happened, if he stayed at the Crows
