“The intention was to interrupt the media spectacle and economic gain sought by Myer. The children coming to see the Myer Christmas windows were never a target, because children are not a target,” she said on Friday.
Settal earlier told 3AW Radio that protesters were “very pleased with the outcome that Myer has decided to cancel their consumerist party” and were “more than happy for the children to enjoy the windows”.
Yet 2 days ago she said this…
“Because so far we have officially over 20,000 Palestinian children murdered and perhaps Australian children have a right to know that our governments are allowing, facilitating, funding, participating in this genocide," Amy said.
“Why do those children have more rights to enjoy Christmas than the children in Palestine?"
So you’re denying the aim of the protesters is to cancel Christmas, despite them saying it multiple times?
