Traded Jack Billings [Traded to Melbourne for F3 (Melb)]

People have talked about Billings as a good kick literally since he was drafted, but I've watched every one of his senior games and a bunch of his reserves games and never really seen it. He's serviceable, like 70% of the players in the AFL, but he's not Errol Gulden.
I think he's a good kick, but often a slow decision maker. He'll take a nice lead up mark on the wing but takes too long to keep it moving so the easy option dries up. He always seems to play "nervous".

Agree if the Dees can get his confidence up he could be a nice icing player. Someone mentioned Jack Watts a few pages back - agree with that comparison 100%.

He can't resist a "bargain". Dunstan, Grundy, Hunter, Billings etc

The guy clearly watches clips from Moneyball every time he takes a shit and thinks he’s Jonah Hill. I hate it when list managers think they’re smart and start looking for bargains. 90% of them aren’t anywhere near competent enough for that - they should just do the simple things well. Take the picks to the draft.

'he gets on base'- Tim Lamb on Billings
