Plus I'm sick of standing at AFLW games.

The carry on by both Richmond and neutral fans regarding how unsuitable it is to play the womens game at Punt Rd this weekend due to lack of facilities should put to rest whether the stand should remain or not.

We should put the oppo fan base in the Jack Dyer stand. Might help speed up the demolition process.

surely some time during this rebuild we will have them upgrade richmond station so it feels less like a groupies dungeon ?

2000 tickets for an AFLW final.
The new stand would have increased that to 8000 in comfort, and we would have filled it out.
Gotta get the old stand down asap.
And with minor improvements around the ground we can and will easily increase that number to 10-12,000 in the near future. See Mars stadium Eastern stand below which was approx 18 million IIRC and has a width which would likely fit with most of the Eastern boundary to Punt Rd.

We would want to start soon, the Dogs are going through their redevelopment, and it is taking ages at the moment.
They started works there at the back end of last season and it appears to still be bare to the bone at the moment.
I wonder if we don't want to disturb the footy program, so we will wait until the end of the season now and try and do it in the off season

nobody has been in the jack dyer stand since 1985 apart from the historian bloke and rhett bartlett

If you've seen Whitten Oval, the dogs have had to move out even though some of the facilities are able to be used.

They've found the endangered Tiger Possums are living there. Extinction Rebellion are planning a protest to the demolition. Linda Stoner has chained herself to the balcony.
