I wouldn't be surprised if he played this week. I didn't see any footage where it looked like he'd done his hammy. Then when he was on the bench he looked pretty happy for someone who was suppossed to be injured. It may have been one of those fake injuries so they could sub Brown on, who was better suited to yesterday's game style. After the game Fly said Jack would probably miss next week, but he also said Jack was experiencing hamstring tightness. So all things considered I reckon he might get up.

The "happiness" was about trying or succeeding in laughing off the booing.

Maybe we should call out all those booing Ginnivan as racists???????

Nah. Unless you want it to escalate. The Goodes booing was escalated by people being told not to boo. Most of the continued booing wasn't racism, it was sticking the finger up at authorities telling us what we could and couldn't do at the footy.

No we won't. I'm not saying that. My comment wasn't in relation to the hammy. I just think the smiling when the cameras were on him and his hammy are completely unrelated.
I thought he looked pretty content before the laughing bit too..

True, but I don't think I've ever seen him not look content. He smiles and laughs when he kicks a goal. Hesmiles and laughs when he gets punched in the head. He smiles and laughs when he gets booed. He smiles and laughs when he doesn't. I reckon he's great.

Agree with the reasons you state.
My comment was facetious…
(I can’t find an emoji for that).

I have no problem with what Tay said. His comment is no diffent to what a lot of players will say/ do when any player is booed…
Didn’t the AFL even try to enforce ejection of people booing? Have I got that wrong??

Hey, Pies supporters booed the Duck/dinner player last week…

Yes but our booing of the Demon Duck was rational, well thought out and added to the general atmosphere. We know what we're doing when we boo.

No goodes was booed for being indigenous guy with a brain.... let's not continue spreading the crap myth
I have no doubt that there were sections that booed for that reason, but the initial booing started when Goodes was clearly playing for frees.
Then, the booing continued due to the mob mentality, and perhaps racism. In the end, a lot was due to people not wanting to be told not to boo by the AFL and others.

For me it depends on what Yay was trying to do. If it was to stop the booing it's likely to be counterproductive. But if it was to help create an us against them narrative or offer support to Ginni, good stuff.

Correct. Attribute righteous motives to our behaviour and dishonourable motives to our opponent's. Tribalism 101.

anyone who can explain the people who boo either opposition or umpires AFTER they win a match? explain it in a rational way ...I think some people boo because of the lives they live...i wouldnt even begin trying to stop them
