Worth a look, just watched the replay ….again. At the 3.11.40 mark Jack is alone at the back of the group on camera, the song has gone on again and he has a wry smile on his face as he soaks it up. Right decision to come home, great game, kicked straight and got the all important win. Vindication 👍👌👏🏆

Great interview with Bruest. So pleased Gunner's back with us. Gets to play his 250th for a club and supporters who love him. Plus he's turning out to be a superb mentor to our forwards. Hope he kicks a few! Congratulations on your 250th game, Jack!

What a great interview. 2 absolute legends of our club and clearly great friends.

How good was hearing Gunston's favourite ever game was the 2013 Prelim Final. I'll never forget being there live and the whole last quarter and 20 mins post game was just an incredibly emotional experience as a fan. It's cool to hear Gunston talk about it.

I mentioned this before but it was my birthday. Had extended family at the ground. Essendon and Collingwood supporters ribbing me at 3qtr time. However it was all hugs and shouting the hawthorn theme song by the end. What an emotional roller coaster that game was. Will never forget it. The one only time we have come together like we did.

All those ‘experts’ that just ‘couldn’t understand’ why we brought him back need to hand in the media credentials because they have no right covering footy.

His impact on and off the field has been incredible! A true out and out Hawthorn legend!

He's still the best kick for goal in the team and he's the man you want with the ball in hand in the forward line. When the team goes forward I look for where Jack is hoping he is a target (just like the good ole days). I just hope the young blokes are working hard to learn and emulate what Jack has been able to do for over a decade now.

I see a guy who is still playing great football and moving very well.

People talk about him like he is eking out the last hand full of games of his career.
I see no reason why he could not continue next season, provided his back issues don't flare up again.

I don’t think we would have seen such a fast rise from Dear without Gunners, but is absolutely holding his own anyway. Masterstroke of list management.

Has to be involved next year with Scaife as the new protege but depending on list requirements may be drop him down to the rookie list.
