Selwood and Dahlhaus both played some good footy for us before their bodies let them down. Cost nothing at the trade table either.

Happy to take 10 cheap failures to pick up a Tyson Stengle and Isaac Smith.

Chances are this won't work out either but it's a free swing.

I wouldn't rule it out, but also sounds like they didn't match his training loads to his risk profile. Just told him to keep maintaining it. That would be Carltons mismanagement as much as anyone's is that's the case

Compare to Rohan last three years for us with a similar risk profile. He was missing most of preseason on his own conditioning program, then had his own preseason during the year, then came in back half of the year.

I don't expect anything of him anyway really. He likely pings a hammy every match. I just wouldn't put that squarely on him
