I reckon it will be graded careless/high but medium (not low), which means 1 week.

That would be fair. You just can't do what Martin did in modern day footy.
I still think Low because Blakey played on without any noticeable effect to him.

It’s interesting reading this thread so far. In the NRL, these get picked up quickly as they can cause severe damage… we call it a swinging arm.
My first thought was he would have to get a week for it. So lucky he didn’t break his jaw.

NRL would have sent him off straight away
 
Should be 2 weeks - Blakey was taken for tests.
Intentional, High contact and high impact.
Will be 1 week though.

JVR should have been 2 but got 1, McStay not as dazed as Blakey, lower impact
