Happy to keep him. Essendon fans are too harsh on him.
Stringer is one of the few players in the team that I actually enjoy watching play.

Strange times in the Stringer deal. You'd have thought he'd end up at GWS very easily.

I heard Jake's pulled the pin on it. He said "I'm only a nonce, I don't want to be associated with people who make inappropriate jokes. They might ruin my image."
Hopefully this is the kick in the guts he needs. Realises his career is essentially done unless he lifts his professionalism and off-field attitude. I won’t hold my breath but we will see whether he truly wants to be an afl player next year

Still might be true. If we’re talking about AFL vs VFL Gonna have to do a bunch of running if he wants to make it as an afl mid. No space in the forward line

Yep Western Sydney have heaps of take away venues.
Our forward line is absolutely stacked with the superstars like Jones, Draper, 2MP and co.
No room for a guy that can actually put the ball between the sticks.

Jones has been playing primarily as a wing And 2MP ended the year in the VFL. So 2/3 of those players weren’t even in our top 6 forwards last season.
Say there’s 3 “tall” spots and 3 pressure spots…. Being reserved for Langford Caddy and Draper.
Langford is better (and fitter and will be around long term)
Caddy is the future and needs more development time. (And might be better as he’s bigger and faster and has a better leap)
Draper is literally the only player on the list who can hold position against your 200cm Key defender types.
Jake doesn’t “pressure” because we tried that last year and it didn’t work. He’s either a mid who rests forward or he’s an overqualified backup for a langford injury

So important that GWS can get him in, to raise the average standard of their club culture.
