Everyone wins

It says alot about where this thread is at, that I got 3/4 of the way through before realising you were taking the piss....

Wait, what?

You mean you're willing to trade Stringer for less than pick 8?

I thought you said you'd prefer to keep him if you didn't get something better?
You're such a shit troll. I've already replied stating that was my theory before the Gilmore stuff came out. Last I checked I wasn't an employee of the Western Bulldogs either.

Hooker is an improvement on Hartley at FB. He won an AA in the position and he would last longer in our 22 as FB (should be able to get a good 4-5 years out of him).

Francis & Ridley have always posed a conundrum for me.
Both strong intercept markers. Both use the ball with poise and skill.
I feel we would have had selection issues playing both, plus Hurley.

But i also think Francis would have transitioned to a utility on-baller (of which we have Langford, Laverde, Begley, Redman)

If the end result is Francis, Pick 11 and 2018 2nd rd slide into the 3rd out, and Stringer, Smith, Saad and Schache in i'd be stoked.
Ahhhh it's already started.

I thought most Bomber fans said Stringer was a done deal to them?

Cats: Stringer, 26, Blues 4th rd
Blues: Lang, 19
Dogs: 16,22

Ahhhh it's already started.
I've been on that bandwagon since he sat out the NEAFL GF.
Couldn't see him going back and i ranked a small rebounding defender and a young KPF as our highest priorities this off-season.

Hurley, Hooker, Hartley
Hurley, Hooker, Ambrose
Hurley, Hooker, Ridley

Not too fussed, but i prefer Hooker @ FB, even if he was outstanding at FF this year.

Bulldogs are the biggest pricks if they don't trade him. The league should fine them if that does happen - imagine if your employer came out and said you were not wanted then refused to let you go somewhere else?
I know this is a troll but if not then you should probably do some reading on every statement made from official club people and those involved directly with the club.

Eagles just traded their 2018 1st for 2x 2nds in 2017 and a 2018 2nd
Dogs couldn't get them to trade 13 for essentially the same deal....

Eagles 2018 1st is likely to be lower next year and the draft is stronger......

starting to think the Dogs fans may be right and they aren't serious about trading Stringer.
