The club - I won't say the position of the person inside the football department. But the person who conveyed the message is pretty legit.so let's wait and see.

The way I look at it is, why would anyone bother to make something up about a Vfl player lol. I was mainly talking soccer with my mate as the game was crap to watch but somehow Ryan came up.
 
What's going on with Flyin Ryan?
I remember we came out after the draft very bullish on where we got him. Debuted early, then fallen off the face of the earth...
Has he been injured? Is he still in the plans for the future?

Had a recent last few weeks of the season.
Has been hampered by injury this year off and on, which affected his consistency

Do you think wce would notice if we swapped him with the real flyin' Ryan.

Did you mean decent Jen? I’d give him another pre-season and year to make an assessment of his skills. Unless it was steak knives as part of a sweetener for a South Australian player. Perhaps after the rubbish Port Adelaide showed last night Houston might reconsider?

Yes my bad, I meant decent haha.
Has two years left on his contract. Another pre-season and injury free will help. Build up more physically too.

Hopefully Reef can be what Cowan was purported to be which is what Ryan should have been.
 
Do we still have much hope for Ryan? I didn’t see a whole lot of him this season when I did tune into the VFL. With all the potential retirees in the next 12 months, it would be good if he could start showing something.

Had unfortunate injuries this year, but his last few games he looked to be getting back to his pre-concussion form
looks like he is out to have a big off season. He's getting stronger.

He's only just turned 20.
Hopefully we'll give him the time to show his stuff.

I’m really looking forward to seeing Jakob improve this year. Looks to have been focused on getting his body AFL ready which is what he needed to do to feel at home at the level. Has a bit of pace and likes bringing others into the game (judging by his draft videos) and hopefully puts some pressure on someone like Markov for a spot in the side at some stage.

If one player has a break out year, I want it to be him
Don’t want him played off hbf though - they need to be inventive w him

Why not defence?

He didn't have a good year, but in year 1 he looked like he read the play and zoned well - it looked to be his strength.
