He's trailing Zorko by a few hundred votes, now that just isn't right.
I voted for him! He's trailing Zorko by a few hundred votes, now that just isn't right.

( I got an error message again when I posted this message, but no internet dropout this time. I have added to the message and again hit post.)
This time I didn't get a duplicate, Quicky. Footy Classified just stated that Elliott tested number 2 at last year's draft camp (secretly). Have I misheard? Nobody wanted him but us !I've asked the techies what the go is with this. I'll let you know when/if I get a response.
It wasn't a case of no one wanted him, it was a case of who made the deal with GWS first (because he was pre-listed by them), and there's rumours that we made the Clarke/Elliott deal with GWS even before the finals began last year. This time I didn't get a duplicate, Quicky. Needs a nickname: ej? Herb(elliott)? Elf (looks like one)? Enigma?

The longer the season goes the more rising star nominees are judged on collective record rather than weekly performances.Bit of a silly poll there, Zorko was easily the better player on the weekend, dudes a star, but he is no unsung hero. Should be between Alex Johnson and Jamie Elliot.
Anyway, as someone previously predicted Tom McDonald took the rising star nomination over Jamie, didn't see his game so can't comment. Better luck next time Jamie
^ Thanks Presti.
So if Elliot was pre listed by GWS as a previously non drafted player, he mustn't have shown much as a junior and presumably is now not "bottom aged". A later developer, I guess. Interesting, as he has a touch of class about him now, for sure. Makes you wonder how many other gems there are in the VFL etc. who didn't "shine" at the right moment.
Ogier said Elliott had played only a handful of TAC Cup games last year before breaking his collarbone. The year before that he had badly torn a hamstring
Big segment on The Club on Jamie who is interviewing very impressively. Seems a great kid who has had his fair share of hardship, his dad dying when he was 13.
Your comments are welcome. Our clubs have great respect for each other after last week. It was a great contest between two in form teams. Best of luck till we meet again in the finals!Hey guys long time lurker of this forum. Might not like the pies much but I have huge respect with how you guys go about your footy. West Australian county boy I went to school with Marley in high school and since him and Elliot debuted at the same time I have followed there progress with a keen interest. The weekends game was insane best I have seen in while even tho we lost I really am not disappointed with our effort. On Elliot the kid is pure class ripped patty mac to pieces seems to have a mix of medhurst and lecras for me good set of hands and a brilliant finisher. And just due to my keen interest in Williams I have followed his rise to afl since his colts days 13kicks 2 marks 4 tackles and 3 spoils according to champion data in the west. Was very surprised by beams and next time at subi I would tag Kerr most clearances on ground. Best of luck for the rest of the year and I hope to see you in the finals
Lost my dad at 10, it hardens you up Cory. Can't imagine what it'd be like to lose your father at 13 I'm sure he'd be very proud of him.
Great kid handled himself well in the interview and look forward to watching him play in the jumper for years to come?
