Let's face it, we're talking about two clubs that nobody really cares about, the JHF factor doesn't create much interest outside of the two supporter bases.
To an extent but being part of a 2 team town means we’re at least always going to be relevant in our home state

It's literally in the article that was quoted
I literally didn't read the article. MCG or Marvel, they're both characterless grounds.

Norf averaged under 15k for home games last season. Predicting 30k sounds like someone is jingling the coins in their front pocket.

The msm are getting in on the act...

The AFL has made its biggest fixture blunder of the season scheduling Jason Horne-Francis’s clash against North Melbourne off-Broadway

The rivalry between Port Adelaide and North Melbourne over Jason Horne-Francis is heating up, but when it hits boiling point hardly anyone will be there to see it.

On the surface it looks like the biggest blunder in this year’s AFL fixture.
When it comes to grudge matches this season, there will be no backward steps taken when Jason Horne-Francis locks horns against his old North Melbourne teammates for the first time in round 9.

It is when the subtle jabs from the past few months will surely manifest on the field after a missed ice bath, bad body language and homesickness, in part, led to Horne-Francis’ trade request.
In recent times, these sorts of game have been a love-in. Adam Treloar hugged his Collingwood teammates the first time they met.
Brodie Grundy will do something similar. Ditto Lachie Hunter against the Western Bulldogs.

But this situation feels different.
There will be fireworks when Horne-Francis and the “raging bull” Cameron Zurhaar, who is as equally fearless, come anywhere near each other in search of the footy in the round 9 clash.

But in what might be the most unusual call in the 2023 schedule, this game is scheduled for 2.10pm Saturday at Blundstone Arena, in Hobart.
Talk about off-Broadway.
If North is ever going to receive a big Saturday night fixture this game was it, and surely the return of the No.1 pick who walked out on last year’s bottom-placed club would have drawn 30,000-plus to Marvel Stadium.

Not even hiding the idea that any game outside of Melbourne doesn’t count to them.
No wonder the Tassie team is struggling to get up.

Norf and their reality tv show...
My favourite part "This is the little moment in your life that your connected to the Hawthorn footy club" :tearsofjoy:

Agreeing to coach North. Getting the clubs name wrong.... I'm going to start calling him Sleepy Al

Norf going South... another incident

"Clarkson told reporter Elisabeth Moss “your time will come” in an outburst on February 1st as the media descended on Arden Street in the wake of allegations Tarryn Thomas threatened and intimidated multiple women"

He was head coach there for sixteen years. Sixteen. I think he can be forgiven a slip up on what was clearly a habit.
Of course he can. It's still funny though.

Especially with the way North fans have been carrying on.

If we don't beat North Melbourne so badly that they fold in shame I'll be disappointed. Awful football club on and off the field populated by awful people and followed by awful supporters. Just an all round stain on the competition.

A good game early for JHF will shut these norf nuffies up quick.
They will ride every bad kick he does, every bad game. He could play 21 games where he gets 30+ possessions, and have one bad 10 touch game and they'd still call him out as a failure.

It's just noise, if he's been educated properly, he like us should just tune it out and focus on doing what he does best. The best way to shut them up is becoming the player he could be.

Clarko learning quickly that north are not as protected from the media like the hawks were. (Or Collingwood are)

And if we do belt the living suitcase out of them, it's gonna be especially sweet after all the delusional North shitflood that has been flowing of late.

Obviously for me JHF he physically looks like Buckley, that photo above shows it, similar size and body shape, and the socks up look is just absolute perfection!

But for me he's the best quality junior I've seen in the SANFL, since Buckley. Drawing comparisons on pure ability totally unrelated to looks and style. Only difference is Buckley's SANFL exploits came at a older age.

To top it off though he's been drafted number 1, gone to a s**t side and gotten out to come home, in almost identical circumstances to Buckley who desperately wanted to get to Collingwood from Brisbane.

How did that Buckley story end again?

You telling me you wouldn't have taken Nathan Buckley on your list in the 90's.

Regardless of the premiership meme's Buckley's resume as an individual speaks for itself. Only time will tell if JHF can reach anywhere near those levels but it'll be about the team and coach we put around him, not the individual that changes that story.
