Well ... erm ... we haven't had for a long time, apart from Rozee and Butters, perhaps ....
I suppose what I'm getting at is that sure we've had some decent kicks in the team, but none of them were midfielders. Rozee and Butters have played predominantly forward, and Houston, Burton, Bonner predominantly back. Amon had his moments. Instead we've had average to poor kicks in our centre square midfielders like Wines, Boak, Drew, Ebert, none of whom you could say could consistently hit up Orazio like JHF did on the weekend. Delivery like that is gold, and could very well change how our forward line operates.

Yeah of all the comparisons, Dangerfield seems most apt. The way he runs, the bustling arms through congestion.

**** I hate Dangerfield though, so the thought makes me slightly nauseous. But I suppose I could cope if winds up that good.

A blonde Simon Black for me ;).

Dangerfield has JHF well covered for size, Danger is a big brute, a physical force. JHF is still quite a physical player but doesn't have the height or weight of Dangerfield. But JHF has Dangerfield well covered for foot skills so i don't really see that comparison at all.

I put together a few of his highlights, from what footage I had on hand. Eat your hearts out, North tragics.

Don’t worry about hearts after their behaviour those campaigners can eat a bag of dicks

I hope every possession he gets for the next 10 years burns like fire

JHF will get bigger in time, but I think the comparison is most apt due to breakaway speed from contest being their biggest strength.

Acceleration and ability to bust out of a pack is a highly prized trait in the league and Dangerfield has built his whole career on doing it.

I don't think that was Simon Black's greatest strength

I pretty much threw another comparison out there just for shits and giggles
