SPP has been a massive underachiever in his career so far. Let's not forget he was compared to Martin early in his career.

Only 2 out the last 6 years have been good (not including his debut season) and even they haven't been that lofty

Did the heavy lifting in the midfield his rookie year... The move out of there has hurt.

He’s due a big game against the Camry’s. With Rozee most likely out i think this young lad announces himself as the spiritual leader of the club.
He definitely seems like the Chad Cornes type who would really enjoy ripping the heart out of a Crows home crowd.

Why did he only get 9 centre bounce attendances when Rozee was barely able to run at any speed. He kicked 2 goals playing forward but we needed his power speed and contested possessions in the middle. The crows literally have no match up for him.

In the first quarter his powerful run down the wing and hitting Rioli lace out 30m in front of goal was Dangerfield speed mixed with Buckley skills absolutely elite

JHF has the highest centre clearance win rate in the league, why would you want him at the centre bounces over an injured Rozee?

Exactly. Don't question the tactical genius.

Remember when he was doing the same with Butters and Rozee til injury forced his hand.

When you game plan is to get it inside 50 and hope for magic then you need to play one of your gums up there.

Isn’t Carr in charge of the midfield? Hate on Hinkley but surely this is in Carr?
I reckon there's some sort of half cocked plan to rotate players through the middle throughout the season to prevent them hitting the wall come finals like we saw last year.
