never thought I'd see the day when Jeff White missed out on a game of footy behind Mark Jamar

will be interesting to see how long he's out for, and if this is his last year... if he's getting dropped it doesn't look good for him staying on the melbourne list next year...

I agree. The fact that he is regarded as a champion by Melbourne highlights just how few champions they have actually had.

I agree with your first statement but not your second. Handy ruckman but has had it all his own way, and whilst this decision will be seen as tanking, I see it as a necessary step in to find replacements before we climb up the ladder without a ruck department (besides some skinny Fijian kid and maybe that big lad from freo). For those who think its tanking just ask yourself would we be any better off with Jeff White, if yes it wouldn't be much. Jamar god bless the dud, wins a hit out to advantage every now and then and was instrumental in us beating Freo.
