People dont understand that Joe is our best forward since Llyod and is also contracted so it's understanble that club will want heaps for him in a trade
We understand, but he hardly play for your club the last two season. Best player not playing is best in rehab not on field. If he is playing 20 games a season I will give up pick 2 and 20 for him.

Maybe you can swing Hooker forward ?

Tippa McKernan Smith
Langford Hooker Stringer

That's how we structure up without Daniher and Fantasia. Add it's an excellent fwd line. One we may never see play together.
I was looking forward to it in 2020. Was our missing piece this year.

Hooker is 31. McKernan 29.

Our KPF and ruck stocks are rather terrible at the moment. As is the depth in the midfield.

We need to play hard ball here. If only to fix the list issues we currently have, let alone the ones this creates.

And if Joe gets over his op and has a cracking year for the swans then what? It's important that Essendon gets what he's worth.

Brown and/or Stewart forward ?
Talk of Phillips to partner Bellchambers in the ruck ?

Brown isn't reliable enough. He'll have a good game here and there, but he really doesn't run hard enough defensively (this can be said of much of our players thought)

We're not entirely sure if Stewart is alive anymore. He hasn't been sighted since going on the OP injury list (this after months of no news). It's like that episode of the Simpsons when Uter's parents want to know where he is. We're all a little concerned

Phillips will be new Clarke. He'll get his chances during the bi-annual Bellchambers injuries.

Then Sydney will win the trade, if he was fit and firing and had 3 seasons in a row like his last full year then pick 5+9 would be it, being injured for 2 years means that pick 9 should do it.

The trade will be somewhere in between depending on how confident both clubs are that he will make it back on the park.

9+25 or 5+9 with Essendon's 2020 1st coming back would be my guess.

Daniher nominates Swans one year before he becomes a FA, Whaaaaa, how dare he & the Swans.

Papley nominates Carlton with 4 years to run on contract, yeah all fair & good, he just wants to be with his girl.

Great VFL National competition we are putting on.
Aren't you in the Papley thread complaining he is contracted and yet you're here complaining when others do the same thing?

Yep. There is no need for Bomber fans to panic.

Brown, McKernan and Stewart up forward.

Bellcho and Clarke/Phillips in the ruck.

Hooker to swing forward at Woosha's command.

Who could complain.

Sit tight. All will be sweet.

This is the weirdest trolling I've seen to date

i can handle it from the Blues supporters. We've been through nothing compared to them. Troll away i say (also, they're good sports).

Our forward line is terrible.
Lots of sprinkles in Stringer, Tippa & Raz. Nothing to sprinkle them on :(

We were stupid not hunting Lynch last year.

Quality KPF are hard to come by.
Dodoro has gone all in recently on smaller outside types.
I wonder what his overall long term list management strategy is ...

Adrian is only new in the job, so understandable that he is still refining his list management strategy.

But losing Joe shouldn't be too much of a setback when you still have the quality KPF's and Rucks he's accumulated still there.

really don’t get why people get so tilted which each other’s opinions in here...

You guys know the recruiters don’t read this right?

And stupid for not getting Preuss. if we got him we wouldn't had to get Zac Clarke and looking at the likes of Philips and Zac Smith

Height & midfield depth.

Daniher into picks to build our midfield talent (pref those who can win their own ball and are taller than 180cm)
IF we get 5 & 9 - Would love Kemp and Ash.

Brander, Marshall and Coleman-Jones as CHF, FF & Ruck would be nice.
All 3 locked away for some time, so would take some prying.

And stupid for not getting Preuss
That was negligence.
Draper - 0 AFL Games
TBC - Great but breaks down

Zac Clarke was a disaster waiting to happen. And happen it did.
Would not surprise me if our idiotic list management strategies are why Daniher is leaving.

Would you blokes have a look at Sam Reid and/or Jenkins?

Doubt Jenkins unless we felt we can still contend. Its looking dubious.

We usually make headlines if we're linked to anyone, so not seeing any news of JJ and EFC linked has me thinking we're not.

I'd prefer we look at a ~22yo option who is just outside another clubs 22.
Hence why i like Brander, Marshall and CCJ as trade targets.

If you take whatever picks you get for Daniher and Fantasia to the draft, it’s never a bad strategy.
But the age demographic of the list and recent all in recruiting strategy indicates the club believed they were ready for a premiership tilt which a handful of 18yo’s now won’t help in the short term.
Again, i wonder what Dodoro’s overall long term list management strategy is ...

If we get lucky with 5, 9 and 11 for those two, adding Ash, Kemp and Rivers or Flanders would set us up nicely.
Stephens could fall to our 2nd too.
And we've added another Irish recruit with big wraps on him.

Our tall stocks aren't great, but rest of the ground isn't doing too bad.

You think after 15+ plus years with no success that the club would sack Dodoro and give some one else go mind blowing that he still has a job.
