Don't know much about him at all. But I know someone from Sandy Dragons who is in the Vic Metro squad and I asked about Joe and was told that he can be a bit soft and that he doesn't like the physical stuff.

I don't mean anything by posting this other than to let you know what I heard

Love comments from the opposition sides :D
Had someone tell me the other day Patton was shit because he beat him when they played in under 15's.
Teenagers say funny things :)

Must be around the club a fair bit, I saw him at a NAB cup match, have seen him at real AFL matches a couple of times and even at a couple of the Bendigo games [only at Windy Hill mind you] I can't recall seeing him at the pre-season at all, but that was a fair while ago so that doesn't mean much.
Seems like a nice enough kid, but does he really have to be quite so tall. Very annoying when you sit behind him.

Young Joe Daniher arrived at the VFL game last Sunday with his Dad. His dad introduced him to Graham McMahon who was standing about a metre away from me watching the game. I turned around after hearing "this is my son Joe", and saw a kid who's just towering (like father like son)... Kicker is, he appears to have added a fair bit of lean muscle mass. This is critical. Looks like he's been doing some work on his size and strength.

What a great young boy to have on our list. He seemed like he had his head on his shoulders, spoke well, another Heppell.

Great stuff.

This is why here-say is unimportant.

Living in Brissie, I haven't heard a lot about him, apart from the fact that he is tall and supposed to be a gun. For people more in the know, is it likely we can expect an impact from him in 2013 or like most big blokes will he take a few years on the list to develop?

Really, hes two years away.

Why worry until then?

Worry because D.Daniher was injury prone - Although Tony was a durable player - except for one long term knee injury.

Have not seen him either mate but don't expect too much early on as he is very tall and skinny. Rule of thumb is you give the talls a couple extra years to make an impact.
