I'm a fan of Joe Richards.
I am not really sure he is worthy of a 4 year deal. He has not earned that kind of contract.
Now, if I'm Port then Kosi deal gets done first.
After that, do they really need Richards for 4 years?

I got no doubt he loves club, probably had great day with team mates,
Hard to pull the trigger on these things, personally, I would wait until Monday.
I think it's a little unders because he is contracted and Richards isnt. But it's close enough for a discussion. Agree if he wasn't contracted.

Yeah, you're probably right. I wonder why we aren't interested in Houston?
He looked like he was weighing up Melbourne or Carlton. But they almost look to be fighting over Petracca. Now that St Kilda has entered the conversation we should as well. We could use Richards as a way in.

Shouldn't matter if the $ being offered were around the same, if Richards goes and states he's decision is based on the security of the 3 years, he is kidding himself.
Perform at the biggest club in the land on the two year deal and the rest will look after itself.
Think he goes unfortunately.

He might need to wait until Ports season is over, or even a deep into trade week, before putting up a trade request.
Possibly because Keane will be cheaper and younger.
