Sorry to intrude, but butcher really looks the goods. Despite not having that many touches, his attack at the footy is something you can really build a foward line around. No one likes seeing 1 sided games but it was really great to see the power get some momentum and kick a few goals. hopefully a little footy karma helps out at the draft like it did with WC snagging Darling at 26. Definitely up for the Salter treatment. The geniuses running our club would be doing the right thing by sticking him at half back so that we utilise his great marking skills to receive the kick-in 20m out, better yet to take set shots from via the kick-in.

I think you might be right. We can't play with 3 talls forward nor can we play with two slow dinosaurs in defence (Trengove and Carlile). Not too mention, I think it will be Carlile or Pearce to move on at the end of the year.

Amazing game by Butcher. To the 14k who were at the game with me we got to see something truly special today. Forget the result as Butcher was the highlight and for me the true positive of the year.

There was a amazing buzz for sure. I missed his first goal of the day as I didnt get back to my seat in time. But that second goal he got really was electric. Haven't seen such a small crowd make that much noise since Tredrea's game in 09 against Richmond.
