$1.2m for 3 seasons should do it.

SO why can he kick at AFL level and not be able to hit a Barn yard at SANFL

There was a Butcher chant in my bay after he kicked his 5th

we can build a team around this kid :D:D
 
Stating the obvious here, but signing Butcher up asap would be a good start for the clubs rebuild. Takes great marks and contests at every opportunity, definitely a good looking start to his AFL career.

hope he hasnt, magpies should make 5 this year, along with banner port should be a force in finals
 
Banner, Surjan, Butcher, Ebert and Maric should all be eligible for SANFL finals. If the Maggies get in, it'll make for some interesting viewing.

I have a suspicion that the Power will not release Butcher if the Magpies make it.

If they were sitting top 3 I'd say yes. IF they make it they'd sneak in with a sub .500 winning record.

For me, we have not had a player as exciting as Butcher since WGT pulled on the Port guernsey before the Carlton game in 1998.

He is an absolute excitement machine and a player we can build a team around.

Its real hard not to heap pressure on the kid but geez.....

If i wasnt in a public place at the time i may have even had a mast...

Give him whatever he wants... we MUST keep him here for the long haul
 
I just hope we can keep him, we can keep his head below the clouds and that he works his backside off. I can live with his faults as long as that all happens.
 
remarkable only 6 touches and snags 6 goals . very impressive young bloke looked really good against the hawks too . hope you guys hang on to him long term

Seeing that they are both in demand, we have room in the cap, we are desperate, they are KP and the average in the AFL is about $240k - they will both be on around $380-400k IMO.
