Just wait until Butcher stays at the club for another 2-3 years, all the fans from Victorian clubs will say "he's a spud, wouldn't want him anyway' ect ect

Happened with Trengove, will happen with Butcher. Carlton fans are ****ing clueless. I wouldn't take Gibbs and a 2nd round pick for Butcher, let alone ****ing Hampson. Butcher wouldn't want to play for Carlton anyway, who would?
 
I'm just waiting for Robert Walls to start bagging Butcher if he resists Carlton's offers and stays...

If i went to the Docs my blood pressure would be through the roof right now. genuinly stressed about weather he will stay or go.
Dont think ill survive the two weeks wait!
Will be a mess if he decides to go!!!!!!!!!!!

mate. there is genuinely more chance of cristiano ronaldo playing for us next year
 
I would definitely be shattered if he left. What worries me most is how many other players have said that they went to their family who said "it is your decision" so they stayed at Port. I'm extremely worried that Butcher's dad will say "come to victoria" or something along those lines, I hope he doesn't feel the need to listen to him or that his dad isn't so forceful as it would be a deadset tragedy if he left. Thank god he has played such great games if he does though, his trade value has surely doubled or tripled in the past month.

Lurk3r well his father would be selfish if that's the case. I'm sure he wouldn't, being devoted to a club, I'm sure his father understand loyalty to the club and team. C4 said he's staying, my faith is with C4! Don't stress

I think the Dad comments are being blown OOP... paraphrasing here but his latest comments were along the lines of "like all parents we would like JB to be close, but it will be his decision what he wants to do".
 
I recon they questioned his dad like BFTG questioned Patrick Dangerfield. Which practically went:

"When are you coming home? are you coming home? when do you plan on heading home? are your intentions to head home? if you headed home who will you play for? oh why are you still in adelaide? you should be back home! If Craig goes will you pleaaaasee come home."

It was embarrassing to watch the presenters plead with a young developing player with any sort of potential to come home, because they want their cake and want to eat it too.
