What an awesome bloke our Swans coach is and how lucky Swans are for Horse to mingle with fans after the GC came when the Matildas match is on the big screen at the SCG.

Fantastic win against the Suns today. Season has been a slow burn and hopefully Swans players are peaking at the right end of the year when the business end begins.

Go Swans!

A lot of ungrateful runts here owe our beloved Horse an apology.

Never lost his composure and his messaging remained consistent.

11 finals from 13 attempts with a rebuild in between. Epic.

Said it before - would not swap him for 100 Clarko's!

For me thats to much on the other end of the spectrum.

We should not negate the opinions for improvement.

Horse only gets credit for the good, not blame for the shit record to start the year or the pissing the bed in finals 😂

Agreed. I've been in the pro Longmire camp but there are still plenty of areas he needs to improve on and there was nothing wrong with some questioning whether he was the right man to take us forward.

Horse is a fantastic coach, he just needs to fix the midfield. They need to actually go for the ball more or we'll never win a flag and everything else that Horse does which is exceptional won't count for much.
Does a hell of a lot right and I would not replace him with anyone. GF losses have really hurt but as I have stated before he has made mistakes during them games as many coaches have but he did not kick a ball in anger in any of those games and the buck stops with the blokes that did. Best motivation is yourself. He could not have prepared them any better.

Our defence and goal kicking accuracy is what has gotten has into finals.

Despite this our defence having to deal with extremely lopsided inside 50 counts.

Longmire seems to extract the most out of his players. We were 15th after round 17. Most clubs would be lining up who in the top 5 to interview. Instead he’s now coaching a team playing in a finals series.

Unfortunately he’s not had the success in the grand finals to match his ability to get teams to finals.

I don’t get that

You say he’s an unbelievable coach who you wouldn’t replace with anyone, yet it’s the players who have to take 💯 of the heat for the multiple grand final losses

If he has no impact on the game on Grand Final day then why is he such a good coach?

Yep. Like I said everything great we do under Horse will be meaningless if he doesn't fix the midfield.

People underrate how hard it is for an interstate team to win a grand final against Victorian opposition (especially when you get absolutely reamed by the umpires). 1 from 4 is about the norm and if we get a fair run in 2016 he's most likely at 50% in grand finals.
