The club reason at least was that they had less space as they are not in the grand hall this year.
However they didn't explain why they had the reduction, was it by choice or did crown book it out already? who knows.

They’ve known for months that they wouldn’t be playing finals, so they’ve had months to plan it for this weekend at a venue large enough to sell tickets to fans.
If they didn’t book one it’s because they don’t want fans there.
