One stat that he has 100% efficiency is running into the opposition to obtain a 'holding the ball' - I've been hearing from donkeys like you and others how he will do things no other footballer has ever done. I have finally witnessed this occurrence.
Truly remarkable - and to think what he would have done without his football smarts - you just can't run into the opposition without acute knowledge of the game -what awareness.
You can see he is trying but just not up to it yet. I really hope he gets better but lets not falsify reality with cheap statistics. Lets hope for Melbourne's sake he gets better - they need some luck for once as they haven't had much success lately.

whelan=legend raises conflicting emotions in me because he is a flog in every post (and even takes Bay 13 diatribes to the main board) but I have the utmost respect for Jimmy Stynes and everybody including me wishes him all the best in his fight against cancer.

Currently we average 37,478 a match, 7th in the league. That includes our game in Darwin which drew 8848. Ignore that, and we'd be averaging over 40,000 to matches, that's what you call struggling.
Also, every club in the league gets upwards of 9 million a year in handouts from the AFL. Bag Melbourne when West Coast can survive without the AFL's support.
