He's not part of the deal, but if Mumford doesnt get traded to Sydney then Roosey wont let the Jolly trade go through.

some days i love Roosey

Damn I thought it was a done deal. Fox sports are reporting it's done, what the...

Yeah well can't blame em, wouldn't want only seaby in the ruck

WOO HOO!! As per foxsports...

Any doubt about the Darren Jolly trade have been laid to rest. He is officially a Collingwood player, and draft picks No.14 and No.46 are officially Sydney's in return. Reports suggesting the Swans' interest in Shane Mumford might scupper the Jolly deal were off the mark...

If he doesn't uphold his gentleman's agreement he is nothing but a common rapscallion.

I'm amazed and happy you managed to get this word here

never reliable but roos said so it must be. Kinda thick not to wait until we had mumford but anyway

Be prepared for a 06 repeat if you get into the finals (Hopefully not depends on opponents :p) . Definately not his best performance

OFFICIALLY DONE..!!

Now just to decide what number he wears..??

Clarke's number..?

And Fox news is your source???? Wouldn't be picking out numbers yet.

Not sighted on afl.com.au or the trade tracker. Still only an agreement in principal AFAIK.

Oh God, the deals were not seperate.

It was a Sydney, West Coast and Brisbane three swap so all deals need to be seen as a total for all three clubs.

DST
:D

We gave up Buchanan, pick 22 and pick 47 for Seaby, pick 28 and pick 39 Sog the value of Seaby is that he was worth a fringe player, a downgrade of seconder and a upgrade of a fouth rounder.

Great pick up for us. It's been blatantly obvious for the last decade that our ruck has been sh!thouse. Jolly puts an end to that. I think the deal was definitely in our favour but that said Sydney should get someone decent for pick 14. With Seaby and hopefully Mumford as well it isn't the worst thing to get a first rounder to continue rebuilding your list with youth. If 14 turns out to be a cherry you wont be complaining in the future.

I don't think chances of that happening is too good... The past pick 14s: Jack Grimes, James Sellar, Grant Birchall, Angus Monfries, Fergus Watts, Daniel Bell, Ashley Watson. Duds like Watts and Watson, average players like Grimes, Sellar and monfries. Birchall's probably the only good pick 14 in recent years.

Are you kidding? Players like Grimes, Sellar, Birchall, Monfries and Bell are decent players, and about right for teen picks. Ashley Watson, I've never heard of, and Watts was struck down by injuries.
