That makes absolutely no sense what so ever.

As another has pointed out, Buddy's waist is tiny, turns blokes inside out. So is Cameron, all for lateral thinking but that's just stupid.

Yes I agree.

Daniher is still a rake thin teenager. Few kilos added..ends up a monster.

People forget how puny looking Sandilands was early days. The giants always fill out eventually.

Unless you're Spider Burton..

Funny that, Daniher out performed McBean at AFL level:p

When McBean learns how to mark a footy we will talk.

Hogan
15 games
63 marks
36 contested marks

Daniher
12 games
85 marks
35 contested marks

Mcbean
14 games
59 marks
14 contested

clearly anyone who watched the VFL games this season could see Daniher and Hogan often being doubled and tripled teamed.
hence why Daniher and Hogan had to take so many contested marks.
difference is hogan has a big body already & daniher news to fill his out, difference it after daniher fills hos out, how great will he become

But he isn't as quick as Hogan, nor as agile as Hogan, nor applies the same defensive pressure as Hogan, Hogan also averages more goals and finds more of the ball.

So it isn't all about potential size or a slight advantage in marks.

How is this even a question. 2 haven't even played a senior game of football, 1 has had a couple of major injuries and the other has played a handful of games. They could literally be anything, from spud to superstar.

It reminds me of when people were comparing the 2006 super draft KPF's, before they had even played a game. Apparently Gumbleton, Hansen and Thorp were going to dominate the competition for years .

didnt thorp get like 3 acls in a row?

every thread about Patton/Boyd/Daniher is filled with Richmond supporters like yourselves talking up McBean who fell to pick 36 for a reason.

.
Big footy Logic Strikes again.
Player X goes top 10 must be better than Player Y who went after him.

Bookmark Liam McBean. His results in the VFL played there by the club for his development is on par if not exceeded Hogan this year. He is going to be a ripper.
Don't get me wrong T71.Mcbean is going to be a player at AFL level but I think Hogan will be better.Very impressive from what I've seen of Hogan.

That's not want I'm saying. This thread is about comparing highly touted key position prospects of which McBean isn't.

You know McBean holds it down - and when I mean 'it' - I mean any KP position on the ground.

Liam McBean >> The rest.

Hogan is going to have a big advantage playing next to Clarke and Dawes.

He ripped up the VFL and often had two or three defenders hanging off him. No team will have that luxury against him at senior level (though there will be less opportunities as the MFC midfield is still shite, but will get better). I also don't think it will bother him playing "against men" in the AFL. He's a beast of a kid already, and has that mongrel gene. Seems to thrive on confronation.

Daniher has a similar advantage, Essendon are flush with talls, I think he just needs a year or two to grow into his body a bit more.

Yep Hogan would love getting the third defender in the AFL ala crameri

Surely the highly regarded but as yet unproven forward from my team is hands down the best of them.

You're all deluded if you think differently and I will question your intelligence if you disagree.

amidoinitright?

Not sure, and its hard to answer cause Hogan never got to play his final year as a junior.
