So which show will she be on at 6.30pm monday - TT or ACA ?
I'll tip TT
Exactly what I was thinking, couldn't believe this shit was in the paper when it reads like a today tonight transcript. The worst article I have a read for a long long time, would not get near a paper if it wasn't the off season you'd think

yes, the girl has all the hallmarks of a vindictive bitch and gold digger. but whats more alarming than the article making any news at all, is Richmond fans jumping up and down to support him just because he plays for the Tigers. This behaviour is common to all fans in regards to negative publicity to players at the clubs they support. Dunno him personally but the dude must be a good bloke because he plays for my club. it get quite tiresome reading the same shit over and over again.
I think in this case it is irrelevant what sort of guy he is.

As a Collingwood supporter, I couldn't care less about Jordan McMahon.

I care that articles like this exploiting the private lives of players are allowed to be published. There will come a time when players just refuse to have anything to do with the media if they continue to be treated like this.

I really am awaiting the herald sun's response as to how this story was in the public interest?

I can see this is going to turn into another women hating thread.

Nowhere in the article is there a direct quote from either party. This information has been taken from documents given to the courts by lawyers and for those of us who have been through a divorce we all know how lawyers like to present evey tiny negative detail of your life together.

Fact of the matter is you will probably find she is just after a reasonable settlement for her and her daughter and quite frankly she is entitled to her day in court and Jordan will also be heard.

As for the article though, my opinion is the same as it was for the clarko incident - I am deadset tired of the media printing stories that they believe are of interest to the public because of there so called profile and in fact have no interest value whatsoever. These types of cases appear before the courts everyday and are not printed and it is about time that the private lives of footballers stopped being invaded at the rate they are - it is an absolute disgrace.

Absolutely everything.

Did they get a lease together? Did she take the lease on the assumption that they would be living there together? Maybe it was, maybe it wasn't. But it's a crucial factor.

For you to say, "What has that got to do with it?" shows only your bias.
Calling me bias? lol
Your the one making assumptions that he,s only paying 2.7% of his wage in Child support.
I,ve been through the system.Firstly they would be going on his 07 assesment in which he was on far less than what he made in 08.
The system also allows flexability ie:paying rent in leu of Child support payment if other factors matchup.
Bottom line is there is no way he would be able to stooge the Govt or his ex out of payments, unless he,s self employed.

i totally agree with your point, and re-reading my post, i realise that i didnt make it clear that the article is disgraceful journalism. In this day and age of media, many news websites - i.e., news.com.au and affiliates - will resort to sensationalism just to increase clicks and traffic on their website which in turn increases the premium they can charge to advertisers.

but still, i find the blind loyalty to a player, and on the flipside the assasination of character of a player, which is purely based on the club in which he plays for, as immature in the extreme.

Yeah I understand what you are saying. A player could be found guilty of murder but some of the club's supporters would still be sticking up for the player. It is very immature but unfortunately there are a lot of people, even surprisingly intelligent ones, like it out there.

No surprises there ...
The bloke can't even afford to buy himself a decent pair of razors (or courage on the football field for that matte)

Can't believe Richmond gave up a 2nd rnd draft pick for his 'underwhelming' services :)

What is even more mindnumbingly banal is people carping on about supporters siding with their players whilst hiding it behind a line or two about civil rights.

We don't need it explained to us that some people blindly support their players, okay Einstein? We can actually work that out for ourselves.

Back to the topic.

I was responding to someone else's point. If you have nothing constructive to say and are only going to be abusive, don't post, okay?

No, you were grandstanding about your percieved moral and intellectual superiorities.

I suggest you heed your on advice and post something relevant and constructive to the topic at hand.

please people excuse my ignorance but.

was this woman a willing participant in the conception of this child.
was the father asked if he wanted children at the age of 20-21
was the father given any choice in this matter at all.

we dont know do we, any body old enough to have teenage kids ask yourself this if my son participates in sex (could be a 1 night fling)
should he have the choice of having a child or should he just become
a prisoner to a gold digger who has worked out AFL footballers earn pretty good coin. $600 a month sounds pretty fair to me. move on lady

To have this in the new is just ridiculous.. it's a civil matter between jordan and his ex.. why it's in the paper is beyond me.. it's none of our business as far as I'm concerned..

Is Jordan doing anything wrong?

He is paying his Government decided amount of child support each month.
He is then paying rent on top of that.

He should be made to pay for pain and suffering as well.

The nerve of Jordan, forcing her to work for $20 an hour while he went to Vegas and blew money at the TAB. Dosen't he realise it's a man's duty to provide for the woman and all her needs.

"When she moved into McMahon's Melbourne apartment in December, 2004, he sacked the cleaning lady and expected her to do the household chores."

Just outrageous. This is the 21st century; no woman should be required to perform such menial duties.

teehee, its funny cost its true!

Not sure if anyone has posted this but this girl hasn't gone to the media, the reporter gained the evidence from the papers that she has lodged with the courts.

She's no Alex Fevola.

Said the same myself, but don't let the facts get in the way of a good b*tch about the partner of a footballer.

But when she moved into McMahon's Melbourne apartment in December, 2004, he sacked the cleaning lady and expected her to do the household chores.

my favourite part :D

Good on ya Jordy, he makes $250 000 a year because he works his ass off. She makes $35 000 a year because she sits at a desk doodling on scrap paper, making phone calls.

There is no reason he should have to pay for her, the mole can pay her own way.
