I would think Reef looks more like a natural forward than Josh does,I remember a 1 handed grab under the pump and thinking rhat takes no little skill and no shortage of confidence to even attempt that as a 19 yr old.

I like Reef a lot as a player has some toe and could be used in the middle,I like that booming right foot of Josh,s too it is a weapon we just need a pre season or 2 in him then we have more idea of what he is.

People underestimate how hard it is get to a contest and dispose of the ball with precision in the AFL if you don't have a tank for it yet. It's not SANFL where the fitness levels are nowhere near the AFL. AJ had the same problem. Both JC and AJ will be much better players next year with a good body of work behind them.

I can see Josh in the Crisp role - providing run and carry through the half back and centre. I can see Reef developing in the De Goey role as a burst forward/mid player. I'd like to see Poults given a chance to develop the stamina to play the WHE role.

Showed plenty in his brief stints including some key goals in last quarters.

Considering where he has come from it’s a pretty amazing story, but he physically looks like the local league footballer he was up until recently.

Needs to get himself in serious condition to continue the fairytale.

Ofcourse everyone will talk about Nick & Fin. However, JC came 3rd in the 2km!

The boy knows he needed a bigger tank and worked on it over the break.

Unbelievable to think 12 months ago he was a country footballer.
Hine called him a good runner when he was drafted, I think he struggled with the intensity of AFL contests more than anything.

I saw somewhere he had engaged a running coach at the end of the season, so this is the first sign that he's working hard to improve.
Well done, Josh!

Looks ripped now… lost a lot of the puppy fat from last season that the club wanted gone.

Maybe also told to share eating habits with John noble… ☺️

The lad is obviously dead serious about his career - if 'the bear' had a fraction his commitment he would have been a real asset.
Why do you keeping bringing up Sier, he's no longer a Collingwood player, let it go man!

That's our future midfield there. Throw in McInnes, Draper and Harrison and all of a sudden you have hop.

Showed last year he can find the footy, has an inside and outside game at the stoppage, can kick goals as a forward, and will be better for the run, and a full pre-season.

Carmichael's ability to put himself in a position to kick goals, and then to follow through and kick four of them in his 7 senior games was very impressive.

I loved his few games, and he's one I'm most looking forward to seeing improve in 2023.

I've been too distratced by Ryan's do. Its an abomination and I haven't had time to assess other changes.

There's also a bit of bleach around. I think Ginni started it.

I suspect he'll be 2023's Ginni. He has tremendous upside.

I blame this person..
