"Today got to say good bye to JubJub, sat amongst family, friends and a couple of Cats Claw tragics.

Cold Chisels-When the war is over, lead into Noiseworks R.I.P. Millie as the crowd walked in and settled into their seats.
We were regaled with some anecdotes, yet what mostly came to the fore was his care for others and putting himself 2nd.
That doesn't change the fact that he always said (wrote) it as he saw it or was shy in coming forward.

Family & Friends came forward lit candles as Barnesy sang, When your love is gone, was very touching and tugged at ones emotions.

As we walked out Crowded House- Don't dream it's over, emanated from the speakers and it made me think, I wish the Cats could win it this year
for Jubjub, Bob and PamperedCat (who also passed away recently) and all those passionate Cats supporters who are no longer with us.

btw: JubJub picked all his own songs."

Thankyou for that info. The man obviously had a little musical flare in him too. Good choices. JJ obviously had some anticipation his passing was imminent. Hope he had time to say his goodbyes to those important in his very gifted way
 
Holy ****, just reading this and learning JubJub's true name I went to high school with him. :(

The Bevan I remember in those 6 years at school was a funny, friendly lad who got along with everyone and who was liked by all.

His passing brings much sadness to many of his ex-school mates even though we haven't seen him in many years.

R.I.P Bev, you we're one of the good guys.

Sad news, condolences to his friends and family.
 
I think the first poster that I got into your typical BF tit for tat with.
Goes without saying he won! But a mutual respect was developed from there on.
So sad to hear this. Rest In Peace old mate.
 
RIP JubJub - condolences to family and friends.

I've been away the last few weeks so only just saw this thread and I am completely floored by this news. Just so sad to hear. I first crossed paths with Jubs over on Cats Claw like a few of the other posters in here and he was always a constant source of amusement for me. I never got to meet him, but he certainly left an impression on me and around BigFooty and Cats Claw (of that I am sure). Rest in peace mate and I will cheer extra loud for the Cats this year in your honour. I'm so glad you got to experience our flag years given your passion for this club. Gone to soon Jubs. Will miss ya buddy.
